Attorney Albert Dragon is a personal injury attorney steadfast in representing those who suffer severe injuries. He prides himself in helping accident victims and families struck with severe injury or wrongful death–whether in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania or nearby states. Al says, “My goal is to obtain the best results possible for victims of catastrophic or severe injuries.”
Al’s experience and knowledge have resulted in more than impressive legal victories. In 1991 Al obtained the largest reported settlement of a personal injury case in New Jersey, $9,700,000. He has addressed associations of lawyers regarding handling construction and work-site injury cases and legal ethics. Al has published several manuals on how to handle job-related accident cases.
Al is an Attorney for: Work Injuries; Construction Accidents; Motor Vehicle Accidents; Products Causing Injuries; Catastrophic Injury; Wrongful Death. Over the years he has helped safeguard the rights of the injured, obtaining many multimillion dollar settlements and jury verdicts.
Al has developed a reputation for being the lawyer people on the job go to when they have a major injury. He obtained multimillion dollar results for: an iron worker electrocuted in a crane accident; iron workers injured while installing steel decking; a worker whose back was broken when a hoist unexpectedly dropped eight floors; a worker injured when the wheel of a high reach went into a hole causing the machine to overturn; a worker injured when the rim of a piece of construction equipment exploded; a worker struck by a large piece of falling plywood; and for others seriously injured.
Al’s memberships include: the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Board of Directors 1992-1996. Pennsylvania Supreme Court Disciplinary Board Hearing Committee, 1997-2003, chairperson of hearing committee 1998-2003. Philadelphia Bar Association; member of Fee Disputes Committee. Tau Epsilon Rho Law Society, Chancellor of Philadelphia chapter 1994-1996 and past officer of national organization. Brandeis Law Society, member of Executive Committee 2004 to present.
Al’s admissions include: 1962, Pennsylvania courts; U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania; U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit; and U.S. Supreme Court.
In his spare time, Al is an author. He wrote the delightful and sometimes shocking Appalachian Trail adventure Avalanche and Gorilla Jim. This is Al’s personal experience about two guys on a 1,300 mile trek over grueling terrain where you share such fun and excitement as hilariously trying to stop a night bird’s screaming for the thousandth time–to being rescued in a snow storm, and revealing murders on the Appalachian Trail.
