Ian has been representing the victims of nursing home abuse and neglect and medical malpractice for his entire legal career. He has continually sought to achieve justice for those victims in multiple states throughout the country. Ian is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey, the State of New York, the State of Massachusetts, the State of Colorado, the State of Arizona and the State of New Mexico. Federally, Ian is licensed to practice in the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, and the District of New Mexico. At McEldrew Purtell, Ian represents clients in issues arising from nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, and funeral home negligence.
Prior to joining the firm, Ian received his B.A. in History from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law. He began his legal career with Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. as a law clerk in 2005. As a law clerk, he researched and drafted numerous motions and briefs, gaining considerable experience in all aspects of litigation from pre-suit through trial. He practiced with Wilkes & McHugh as an attorney from 2008 until 2013. In 2013 he joined Reddick Moss, PLLC as the managing attorney for their Philadelphia office where he continued to litigate and try numerous cases across the country until 2022 when he Joined McEldrew Purtell.
Ian is a former collegiate track athlete at Dickinson College and lives in Center City, Philadelphia. He enjoys training in Kenpo Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as attending concerts all over the country.
